Caminaremos a lo largo de la ruta de observación de aves de La Gran Serpiente... podremos explorar diferentes ecosistemas como: bosque flotante, bosque de Varzea, bosque de tierra firme, sabana de arena blanca, bosque primario y secundario donde encontraremos maravillosas aves que habitan en esta región.
This exciting itinerary takes you to the rich biodiversity of Puerto Inirida, beginning with the Caño Culebra trail, where you’ll explore white sand paths and medium-sized forests, with opportunities to spot Spix’s Guan, Pompadour Cotinga, and Lafresnaye’s Piculet. Next, you’ll venture to Matraca and La Rompida along the Inírida River, where you can observe the Rose-breasted Chat, Little Cuckoo, Blue-crowned Trogon, and Green-tailed Jacamar.
The journey continues to Sabanitas along the Caño Carbón trail, home to the Capuchinbird and other small birds native to the Curripacos people’s territory. A highlight of the trip is visiting the mystical Cerros de Mavecure, where you’ll see the Varzea Schiffornis amid stunning landscapes. The adventure concludes at Rincón de Vitina, offering views of immense savannahs and the region’s iconic Inírida flower
