Projeto Tamandúa Pantanal

This research and conservation project is responsible for the protection of 19 species among them variations of tamanduas, preguiças and tatus. All of these are endangered mainly due to the growth in cattle farming and agriculture in certain Pantanal regions.

You can visit and participate to this project at Baia Das Pedras located in the heart of Pantanal and their work is based on research projects and conservation of endangered species. They collaborate with NGO’s, universities and zoos all over the world.
