Big Came Camp
Situated not far from Wilpattu National Park, just 10 minutes by Jeep from its entrance, the camp is close to a lake. The tents are spacious, comfortable and en-suite. Dinners are served around the campfire under the stars.
Elephas Resort and SPA
Located halfway between Habarana and Sigiriya, away from the hustle and bustle, the hotel offers around sixty rooms. Lavendish Wild Safari
This small 22-room lodge is located at the gateway to Wasgamuwa National Park, so you can look forward to a safari in the best possible conditions. Situated on the edge of a lake, you can relax in complete tranquillity. The rooms are simple and uncluttered and all have air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The hotel has a swimming pool, a playground for younger guests and a restaurant serving a selection of traditional curries.

Athgira River Camping
This permanent camp is located in the heart of nature, on the banks of a river. Most of the tents face the river to preserve the privacy of the campers. Soberly but attractively decorated, they have a "real" shower room with toilet and a terrace facing the river or swimming pool. In the evening, the open-air restaurant serves grilled meats by the light of oil lamps. There are two swimming pools. The staff are pleasant and efficient.

Located in Tissamaharama, a thirty-minute drive from the entrance to Yala Park, this hotel comprises several rooms set around a large swimming pool in an immense park. The spacious, tastefully decorated rooms have small balconies overlooking the pool and the park stretching as far as the eye can see. Perfectly placed for safaris in the surrounding area, you can relax after a busy day around the pool with a cocktail or a Western or Sri Lankan speciality from the restaurant.
