Iberian Lynx Adalusia Tour – Serra Andújar & Donana National Park

Pick up of the participants at the agreed place of Sevilla or Malaga: airport, train station, hotel, etc.
Departure to the Sierra de Andújar Natural Park.
Check – in at the tourist complex ‘Los Pinos’, Andujar (www.lospinos.es).
In the afternoon we will make our first foray into nature visiting the valley of the river Jándula, where we will try to observe the Iberian lynx, as well as other species that live in the valley and in the riparian forest.

We will get up early and after breakfast we will head to one of the wildest areas of the Sierra de Andujar.
This is a large expanse of Mediterranean forest, formed by several valleys where the Iberian Lynx still maintains several of its territories and where it coexists with such interesting species as the Spanish Imperial Eagle, the Black Vulture, the Griffon Vulture, the Egyptian Vulture, the Golden Eagle, the Iberian Magpie, the Green Woodpecker, among many other birds; mammals such as the red deer, fallow deer, wild boar, mouflon, etc.
We will have a picnic lunch at midday and continue in the afternoon in search of the elusive cat until dusk.

Again, after breakfast, we will leave early in search of our objective through other places in the Sierra de Andujar until midday.
We will return to the hotel.
Check-out at Los Pinos and drive to Doñana (2 and a half hours by car and pic-nic halfway).

In the afternoon we will visit an area of great ecological value where the Iberian Lynx still breeds and where you can observe a great variety of birds that coexist with it.

We will spend the first and last hours of the day trying to observe the Iberian lynx in the wooded areas of Doñana.
In the middle of the day we will visit several natural sites in Doñana, where our main activity will be birdwatching.
We will visit the marshes of the National Park, the old river beds of the Guadalquivir River and the marshes of the Odiel River in Huelva.
At midday we will taste the typical tapas of each area of Doñana and its good wines.
