Colombia Wildlife: Best of Casanare, Meta & Guaviare ([thisyear]-[nextyear])

Overview

Explore and discover some of the jewels of Colombian biodiversity on this journey through the Orinoquia and the Amazonian regions. The adventure begins in the eastern plains (states of Casanare and Meta) where you will experience the cowboy culture and its coexistence with wildlife: crocodiles, pumas, foxes, deers and a variety of exotic birds. We will continue with an immersion in the flooded jungles of the Amazon (state of Guaviare), we will walk through jungle trails and navigate through its rivers and lagoons to learn about the flora and fauna of this ecosystem. We will climbing impressive rock mountains in the middle of the jungle (Tepuy), where we can marvel at the rock art, some with more than 11,000 years old, the ancestral testimony of the biodiversity of this region.
